I would love to make a bennie like this for a 4year old little girl.. can u help me
ReplyDeleteHere is the link on my Blog to a free matching hat pattern. If you use a size I Hook and worsted weight size 4 it should be big enough for your four year old
ReplyDeleteThank u
ReplyDeleteHow about for an adult size? I would think there would need to be a stitch increase, rather than just a larger hook.
ReplyDeleteYes you can definitely increase the size by adding another round after round 6. Here's how:
ReplyDeleteRound 6 1/2: Chain 3, DC in next three stitches, 2 DC in next stitch, * DC in next four stitches, 2 DC in next stitch* Repeat from * around. Join with a slip stitch to first DC (72 DC)
You can continue on in the pattern but note each round will be 12 stitches more than what is listed.
You can also extend the length by adding one extra round in rounds 7-11
I can amend this pattern to show the changes if it would be easier to see it complete? Just let me know and I will add it
And very sorry for the slow reply- I missed this comment till today
